Question 1

What is fair-chance housing?

Accepted Answer

Fair-chance housing means landlords consider applicants based on their current situation and ability to pay — not solely on past records. Rooms4Felons focuses on connecting returning citizens with housing providers who are open to giving people a second chance.

Question 2

Who can use Rooms4Felons?

Accepted Answer

Anyone who has been justice-impacted and is seeking stable housing, as well as property owners and reentry partner organizations who want to offer or facilitate fair-chance housing.

Question 3

How does the application process work?

Accepted Answer

You create one secure, reusable profile. Once approved, you can apply to multiple verified listings without re-entering your information each time. Hosts review your profile and respond directly.

Question 4

Are the listings verified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every listing on Rooms4Felons is reviewed and verified by our team to ensure it meets our standards for safety and fairness before it appears in search results.

Question 5

Is my information private?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Your personal details are only shared with hosts when you choose to apply to a listing. We never sell your data, and we use your information solely to help you find housing.

Question 6

What if I need additional support?

Accepted Answer

We partner with reentry organizations and support services. Through your dashboard, you can connect with resources for employment, counseling, and ongoing support to help make your housing last.

Question 7

When does Rooms4Felons launch?

Accepted Answer

We are launching on November 15, 2026. Join our waitlist to be among the first to access fair-chance housing in your area.
